April 2020 Update

To my loyal & valued customers,

First and foremost, I hope everyone reading this notice is hunkered down and well. To you and all your families’ good health and best wishes. To all that have called and placed orders to help keep me afloat, I say a heartfelt Thank You! I am shipping orders to anyone who needs items. I check my messages and emails daily. If you have lost your income as so many have, but want to get out fishing, please do so ASAP as it will help to alleviate some stress and anxiety. If you need items and can’t afford them, I will supply them to you and you can PAY ME in June or July or as your income begins to come back. I am part of your family of fishing fanatics and I want to help in some small way. Don’t let your bogus boots or leaky waders keep you from getting out. Please feel free to contact me about moving out in time your need to pay. I don’t mind at all. In the end, we truly are ALL FAMILY! If you need to reach me by cell, my # is: (978) 758-1410. Email works well also. I know, as I have said in the past, that my shop would not be here without my loyal clients.

If you are a person that has signed up for a class or school in April or May 2020, please be patient as I will reach out to you ASAP and discuss some various options for all to consider. Please DO NOT SHOW UP at the shop for your scheduled date unless we receive the go ahead and we have talked together about your options. Your money is safe and protected! I am intending to run all classes and schools – but just at some later date. Stay tuned.

For now, please try to structure some free time for tying flies, cleaning your fly lines, washing down your rods, patching leaky waders and most of all getting some time on the water. All area streams, ponds, rivers and brooks have been stocked. I have been scouting out some new waters in my car recently and I have found some neat brook trout waters that I intend to visit. I grab a cigar, some snack, a water and off I go for 2-3 hours to find new geography to fish. What a great way to spend some time and physically distance myself from everyone. It charges my battery, gets me out of the house and uses up time in a beneficial way. Try it out – you may just like it.

If you need tying stuff, leaders, tippet, flies, etc., please email or call the shop and we can make arrangements for shipping and payment.

Thank you to all, good health, patience and we will overcome. See you on some water real soon.

Internet Purchasing vs. ESFS Purchasing

When you take a look at the rewards program being offered and all the products I carry for your needs, it should become apparent that I’m trying to meet the needs of everyone in the fly fishing community.

Please look closely at the rewards program in conjunction with your purchase needs as I can confidently make the claim that with the rewards program the Evening Sun Fly Shop is the least expensive fly shop in America – Bar none!! There is no fly shop that I know or any conglomerate, mega box store that competes with my prices.

Internet PurchasingEvening Sun Purchasing
Can’t see or touch productSee, touch and feel before you buy
Often you pay for freight/shippingNo freight/shipping charges
No custom fitting on waders or boots, sunglasses or any item where sizing is criticalTry it on before you buy it. Sizing is critical to your purchase
Not usually a knowledgeable, trained person to talk to who has used the product(s)Well skilled, trained people to talk to and explain your needs
Minimal if at all rewards programA rewards program that yields up to 31% for your purchasing. Unheard of in the industry!!!

These are at least 5 reasons to consider calling, stopping in, or e-mailing the shop before you CLICK the mouse. You will help to support a local business that truly cares for you as a client and you will pay no more and always get FREE shipping to your door. Please try us out!!
